This compilation was originally planned for a limited cassette release in 2006 but felt too overwhelming for the time and was shelved till now. This is the last EVER Phase! release, with the catalog number set to infinity. I had to bypass the digital album manifesto (you can read it below), so that everyone can download Koukouroukou as hi-res wave files for free. Please DO NOT BUY IT. It's meant to be FREE. It is highly suggested to MAKE YOUR OWN CASSETTE with this download. Print it on color paper, rice paper, cardstock, draw it, put on some spray paint, stickers, literally anything. Be creative, make it unique! ALL COPIES ARE ORIGINAL!!!

Huge thanks to all the artists participating in this compilation. I haven't spoken to some for years but i truly believe that they're gonna be more than happy that this release stands for truly DIY ethics with a non commercial spirit. Keep the underground alive!

Phase! doesn’t support digital sales. Every single artist’s hard work has been represented by a physical release, like it should. Bandcamp doesn’t allow the “Enable / Disable Download” checkbox anymore, that’s why we’ve priced every release with a ridiculous amount of hard-earned money so that no one downloads it. It’s up there for all of you to listen to and we’re pretty sure there are lots of ways to make it yours if you want to –with very minimum digital and analog hacking skills– but the music up there, on the Phase! Bandcamp page, is just a virtual reference. Nothing more.
